Tax Data Modeller (total – 1, India)

Role summary

Designs and governs the logical and physical data models for the Tax Data Lake and Golden Tax Data Layer to enable unified tax reporting and analytics.

Key responsibilities

- Design logical and physical data models for tax data across multiple sources.
- Define Golden Tax Data Model enabling a single, consistent view of tax data.
- Model tax facts, dimensions, hierarchies, and audit attributes.
- Ensure models support tax reporting, reconciliations, and regulatory audits.
- Align data models with ingestion, ETL, and reporting layers.
- Enforce data standards, naming conventions, and lineage.

Key skills / experience

- Strong experience in dimensional and data warehouse modelling.
- Prior experience modelling tax / finance / invoice data.
- Understanding of tax concepts (VAT, jurisdiction, rates, postings, returns).
- Experience working with cloud data platforms / data lakes.
- Ability to collaborate closely with Tax BAs and data engineers.
- Prior knowledge of bp SAP landscape, FDF systems, etc

Job Types: Full time, Freelance, Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: ₹4,000.00 - ₹4,500.00 per day
