We are currently seeking for passionate and dynamic Diploma Holders / Engineers who pride themselves on their ability to deliver extraordinary levels of productivity and support to the material management department.
As an Engineering Storekeeper you are responsible to help in requisitions for material and receive, store and issue supplies and equipment, compile records of supply transactions and verify that supplies received are accompanied with proper documentation such as invoices, delivery challan/packing list, etc., and is as per indents.
Key Responsibilities
- - Match goods received with delivery notes from suppliers
- Unload and receive goods from suppliers
- Ensure that the supplies match one to one with the requisitions against which the supplies are made
- Ensure that all goods are immediately dispatched to store for which they are intended and that no goods are left unsecured or unsupervised on the loading bay
- Ensure that the QC department and the department that requested the material explicit the procurement certifying the quality and the correctness of the parts received
- Distribute goods to the Engineering Department employees against issue request
- Update all information concerning materials in and out of stores in the ERP System on a daily basis and cross verify on a weekly basis
- Ensure sanctity of the stores by disallowing anyone other than the stores personnel entering the stores area
- Ensure stores area is kept clean and tidy at all times
- Verification of Purchases Orders released against supply documents such as Invoice, Delivery Challan, Packing Slip, etc.
- Gain quickly good knowledge of the manufacturing processes of the company
- Skill & Experience
- - Candidate must have proven knowledge in electronic equipment and components
- Knowledge of English and Computer skills like Tally will be an added advantage
- Knowledge of passive and active devices such as resistors, capacitors, IC’s, fasteners etc. is a must
- Knowledge of mechanical and cable related aspects will be an added advantage
