Job Description – Optometrist

Eyeverse Opticals is looking for a motivated and customer-focused Optometrist who can deliver high-quality eye care while contributing to sales and providing an exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform comprehensive eye examinations, refraction, and vision assessments.
- Interpret prescriptions and recommend the most suitable lenses and eyewear solutions.
- Drive sales of spectacles, lenses, sunglasses, and optical accessories by understanding customer needs and recommending the right products.
- Dispense spectacles accurately, including PD measurement, frame fitting, lens recommendations, adjustments, and final delivery.
- Assist customers in selecting frames based on their prescription, face shape, lifestyle, and budget.
- Explain lens options such as Single Vision, Progressive, Blue Light Filter, Photochromic, Anti-Reflective, and Polarized lenses.
- Provide excellent customer service and build long-term customer relationships.
- Handle customer queries, after-sales service, frame adjustments, and minor repairs.
- Maintain accurate customer records, prescriptions, and order details.




- Ensure the eye testing area and showroom remain clean, organized, and professional.
- Coordinate with the team for order processing, inventory management, and timely delivery of spectacles.
- Stay updated with the latest eyewear trends, lens technologies, and optical products.

Required Qualifications

- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Optometry.
- 1–3 years of experience in an optical retail store or eye clinic.
- Robust knowledge of refraction, spectacle dispensing, and optical products.
- Proven experience in optical sales and customer handling.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Local candidates from Jalandhar or nearby areas preferred.
