UI/UX Design Intern

About the Role

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented UI/UX Design Intern to join our design team for a three-month internship.

This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about creating thoughtful digital experiences and wants hands-on exposure to real-world website, mobile and digital product projects. You will work closely with designers, developers and project teams to translate ideas, user requirements and brand objectives into intuitive and visually refined interfaces.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in designing user-friendly websites, mobile interfaces and digital experiences.
- Create wireframes, user flows, prototypes and high-fidelity interface designs.
- Conduct competitor research and gather visual and UX references.
- Support the development of information architecture and user journeys.
- Create responsive layouts for desktop, tablet and mobile devices.
- Collaborate with developers to ensure accurate design implementation.
- Maintain consistency across typography, colour, spacing and UI components.
- Participate in design reviews, brainstorming sessions and project discussions.
- Revise designs based on feedback from internal teams and clients.
- Help organise and maintain design systems, component libraries and project files.

Skills and Requirements

- Basic understanding of UI/UX design principles and user-centred design.




- Proficiency in Figma is essential.
- Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator or similar design tools is preferred.
- Strong visual design sense with attention to layout, typography and colour.
- Ability to create wireframes, prototypes and responsive interfaces.
- Valuable communication, presentation and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage feedback and work across multiple projects.
- A portfolio showcasing academic, personal, freelance or professional design work.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree or course in design, communication, technology or a related field.
