- 7 - 10 experience administering various multi-Terabyte, 24x7 uptime Oracle databases as an Application or Systems/Infrastructure DBA required
- Strong experience working with Oracle RAC version 11gR2 in a Linux environment required
- Experience working with Exadata from an application or operations standpoint is required
- Strong, proven Oracle Database Performance Diagnostic skills (at both the SQL and system levels) required: familiarity with AWR, ASH, Sql Explain, iostat, vmstat etc
- Solid programming experience in PL/SQLExperience with running environments that make use of GoldenGate, Active Data Guard and/or Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) strongly preferred.
- Experience with Backup and Recovery using Oracle RMAN
- Self-starter capability, ability to acquire new skills autonomously
- Demonstrably solid written and verbal communication skills to drive projects to successful conclusion
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related discipline or equivalent work experience
