We are looking for a competent Psychologist who helps patients deal with and understand their problems related to cognitive, emotional, and social processes and thereby provides psychological support.
Responsibilities and Duties
Ø Assess and Identify Psychological and behavioral problems in patients
Ø Understand and explain the thoughts, emotions, feelings, and behavior of the patient
Ø History collection and conducting the mental status examination
Ø Conducting regular individual and group counseling depending on the patient’s needs
Ø Conducting individual and group therapy
Ø Conducting Family counseling
Ø Conducting lectures, motivational sessions, and skill development training program
Ø Documentation and reporting to other healthcare professionals
Key skills
Ø Ability to empathize with people
Ø Sensitive listening skills
Ø Excellent teamwork skills
Ø Verbal and written communication skills (fluency in English and Tamil, other regional languages (optional)
Ø Maintain Confidentiality
Ø Good patience and problem-solving ability
