- Patient Care: Conduct physical examinations, take medical histories, and assess patients' conditions.
- Diagnosis: Diagnose illnesses and injuries and develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Procedures: Perform minor procedures such as suturing wounds, setting fractures, and assisting in surgeries.
- Prescriptions: Prescribe medications and therapies, adhering to state and local regulations.
- Diagnostics: Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including laboratory work and X-rays.
- Education: Provide patient education on disease prevention, treatment management, and self-care techniques.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient medical records and documentation.
- Collaboration: Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other members of the healthcare team to provide coordinated care.
