Job Description

Basic Responsibilities -

- Ensure proper receiving of all raw materials as per purchase specifications.
- Co-ordinate with stores and production.
- Generating Receiving records.

Ensure proper checks of raw material for Batch no, Manufacturing date and Expiration date.

Responsibilities-

- Receiving of raw materials like Frozen, Chilled, provision and miscellaneous items is done as per Receiving schedule:

1. Milk & Milk Products are checked for physical quality and Quantity, with Temp and inform lab to collect sample for analysis.

2. Meat & Meat products are checked for physical quality and quantity with Temp and thawing loss as per specification.

3. Fruits and Vegetables are checked for physical quality and quantity.

4.



Provision items and Miscellaneous items are received and checked for visual checks like Dented and rusted tin products, unsealed and torn pkts, stapler pins, rubber bands, wet and torn boxes.

5. Raw materials are received by checking Batch no, Manufacturing date and expiration date.

- Distribution of raw material to concerned department.
- Monitoring disinfection of fruits, vegetables and Mutton.
- All receiving of items are done as per purchase order and delivery challan or cash memo quoting purchase order number.
- Assist the Purchase Committee in Vendor Evaluation.
- Co – ordinate with various Departments for Quality, Quantity, Temperatures, Shortages, Extra Order, Urgent order, Late Delivery etc.
- To co-ordinate and assist Purchase department in cash purchases.
- Monitoring the general cleanliness of Area, Trolley, Baskets, Veg Washer, Veg Sink, Arranging Maida Room.
- Co-ordinating with purchase department for supplier’s audits.
- Generating daily receiving reports and forwarding same to accounts departments.
- Maintaining material rejection record.
