Key Responsibilities

- Planning and delivering engaging Science lessons as per the CBSE curriculum.
- Teaching concepts in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Environmental Science.
- Preparing lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, and practical activities.
- Conducting laboratory experiments and ensuring lab safety.
- Assessing students through tests, projects, classwork, and examinations.
- Maintaining students’ academic records and progress reports.
- Encouraging scientific thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills.
- Managing classroom discipline and creating a positive learning workplace.
- Using smart classes, digital tools, and activity-based learning methods.
- Preparing students for internal assessments and board examinations.
- Participating in parent-teacher meetings and school academic activities.
- Supporting remedial classes and enrichment programs for students.
- Coordinating with other teachers and school departments for curriculum planning.
- Participating in school events, exhibitions, science fairs, and co-curricular activities.
- Following CBSE guidelines, school policies, and child safety norms.

Qualifications:





- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in the relevant subject.
- Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) – Mandatory

Experience:

- Minimum 4 years of relevant teaching experience in the CBSE curriculum for Classes VI to VII.
- Prior experience in a CBSE-affiliated school is preferred.

Skills Required:

- Strong proficiency in lesson planning, classroom management, and student engagement strategies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Sound knowledge of basic computer applications and educational technology.
- Student-centered teaching approach with commitment to inclusivity, holistic development, and a growth mindset.
- Ability to motivate and inspire students through innovative, culturally rich, and value-based pedagogy.
- Ability to make learning interactive and student-friendly.
