Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Associate Head – Production to lead Machine Shop operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective production. The role is responsible for production planning and execution, manpower management, process improvement, quality compliance, and achieving production targets while driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage day-to-day Machine Shop production operations.
- Develop and execute production plans to meet customer delivery schedules.
- Ensure optimum utilization of CNC, VMC, and other machining resources.
- Monitor production performance and implement corrective actions to achieve productivity targets.
- Oversee tooling management, tool life optimization, and machining process improvements.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives through Kaizen and Lean Manufacturing practices.
- Drive compliance with 4M change management and ensure process stability.
- Ensure adherence to 14Q requirements and customer quality standards.
- Maintain and improve Quality Management System (QMS) compliance.
- Identify production bottlenecks and lead troubleshooting activities to minimize downtime.




- Coordinate with Planning, Quality, Maintenance, Tool Room, and Stores for seamless production flow.
- Lead, mentor, and develop production supervisors and shop-floor personnel.
- Monitor KPIs and prepare production performance reports for management.
- Ensure compliance with safety, 5S, and company policies.

Required Skills

- Solid knowledge of CNC and VMC machining operations.
- Expertise in machine shop tooling and cutting tool management.
- Production planning, scheduling, and execution.
- Knowledge of Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Strong understanding of 4M change management and 14Q quality requirements.
- Good knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS).
- Excellent people management and leadership skills.
- Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis capabilities.
- Effective communication, planning, and decision-making skills.
