Job Responsibilities,

Patient Care

- Verify patient identity and investigation requests.
- Explain X-ray, CT, and MRI procedures to patients and ensure their cooperation.
- Prepare and position patients correctly for imaging examinations.
- Screen patients for contraindications, implants, pregnancy status (where applicable), and other safety concerns.
- Ensure patient comfort and provide reassurance during procedures.
- Monitor patients during imaging procedures and respond promptly to any issues.

Imaging Services

- Perform X-ray, CT, and MRI examinations as prescribed by the Radiologist.
- Select appropriate imaging protocols, exposure factors, and technical parameters.
- Operate imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
- Administer contrast media when required and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
- Evaluate image quality and repeat examinations when necessary while minimizing radiation exposure.
- Ensure radiation protection practices for patients, attendants, and staff.

Equipment & Safety

- Perform daily equipment checks and warm-up procedures.
- Follow radiation safety, MRI safety, and infection control protocols.




- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of imaging rooms and equipment.
- Report equipment malfunctions and assist with preventive maintenance.
- Ensure proper use of protective devices and safety equipment.

Documentation

- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.
- Complete departmental registers and records on time.
- Ensure confidentiality of patient information.

Coordination & Administration

- Coordinate with Radiologists, Doctors, Nurses, and other departments.
- Prioritize emergency and urgent cases.
- Assist in scheduling patients and maintaining smooth departmental workflow.
- Follow hospital policies, SOPs, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in audits, training programs, quality improvement initiatives, and perform shift/night duties as required.

Requirements

- Experience: Minimum 2+ years in X-ray, CT, and MRI imaging.
- Education: B.Sc. in Medical Imaging Technology/Radiography or Diploma in Medical Imaging Technology (DMIT).

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
