A Solar Project Coordinator supports the planning, execution, and monitoring of solar energy projects, bridging the gap between field teams, contractors, and management. Key duties include scheduling, documenting project progress, managing site logistics, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. They are crucial for timely, high-quality installations.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Monitoring: Develop project timelines, milestones, and maintain trackers.

Site Coordination: Oversee site surveys, shadow analysis, and supervise in office installations.

Documentation & Reporting: Prepare daily/weekly progress reports, maintain project documentation, and manage BoMs (Bill of Materials).

Logistics & Supplies: Coordinate the delivery of materials and equipment to sites.

Approval Facilitation: Liaise with government authorities, DISCOMs, and clients to secure required permits.

Quality & Safety Control: Ensure installations meet safety and quality guidelines.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Technical Knowledge: Understanding of solar PV systems and installation processes.





Software Proficiency: Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel), project management software (e.g., MS Project), and scheduling tools.

Communication: Strong verbal and written skills for coordinating with diverse teams, including contractors and clients.

Education: Typically a bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field, or relevant experience in renewable energy.
