Job Description – Supply Chain Coordinator

Job Summary

The Supply Chain Coordinator is responsible for coordinating procurement, inventory, logistics, and supplier activities to ensure uninterrupted availability of materials and timely delivery of finished goods. The role works closely with procurement, warehouse, production, sales, and logistics teams to optimize inventory, reduce lead times, and improve overall supply chain efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely procurement of raw materials and components.
- Monitor inventory levels and maintain optimum stock to support production and customer demand.
- Track purchase orders from placement through delivery.
- Coordinate dispatches with logistics partners to ensure on-time deliveries.
- Maintain accurate records in ERP/MIS systems for purchase orders, inventory, and shipments.
- Work closely with production planning to ensure material availability.
- Resolve supplier delivery delays and material shortages.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly supply chain reports.
- Monitor logistics costs and identify opportunities for cost optimization.
- Coordinate with warehouse teams for GRN, stock reconciliation, and inventory accuracy.




- Ensure compliance with company policies and documentation requirements.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across procurement and logistics processes.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, logistics, or inventory management, preferably in the electrical or manufacturing industry.
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Tally Prime, or similar).
- Strong knowledge of inventory management and logistics operations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.

Compensation
