Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Project Consultant (Sugar Technology / Mechanical) to provide technical expertise and project management support for the planning and implementation of sugar plant, cogeneration, distillery, and related process industry projects. The role involves preparing and reviewing technical studies (DPR, DFR, TEFR), assessing plant layouts and equipment specifications, coordinating with clients and vendors, and ensuring adherence to engineering, safety, and quality standards throughout project execution. .

Required Qualification:

- B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or Sugar Technology from a recognized university or institute.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and review Detailed Project Reports (DPR), Feasibility Reports (DFR/TEFR), and techno-economic analyses for sugar and allied industries.
- Provide technical consultancy for process optimization, capacity expansion, and modernization of existing sugar plants.
- Assist in mechanical design review – including selection, sizing, and specification of process and auxiliary equipment.
Coordinate with clients, vendors, and EPC contractors for technical discussions and project deliverables.
- Review and approve P&IDs;,



general arrangement drawings, and equipment layouts.
Conduct site visits and inspections for project evaluation, progress review, and troubleshooting.
- Support in preparation of tender documents, BOQs, and technical bid evaluations.
- Ensure adherence to ISO / quality management standards and safety guidelines.
- Contribute to project scheduling, budgeting, and resource planning in coordination with project management teams.
- Provide technical presentations and reports to clients and management.

- Robust communication, analytical, and coordination skills.
- Proactive problem-solving and decision-making approach.
- Exposure to distillery, ethanol, CBG, or bioenergy projects will be an added advantage.
