Job Description

Main Function Responsibilities and Activities

- Follow, maintain and manage under control the tooling calibration activities as required by the related processes and requirements
- Lead the L2 QRQC in your area along with S,Q,C,D,P & I indicators with team and maintain the team performance within target.
- Ensure there is no delay (Target : 100% On time) in tool issuing to production coming from regular calibration, repair or replacement.
- Having strong knowledge in problem solving with right methodology like Ishikawa, 5 Whys, FTA, Pareto diagrams, SPC etc.. and eliminate the issue permanently
- Perform electrical, mechanical, and electronic instruments and equipment calibration per the required standards
- Ensure the appropriate implementation of calibration and maintenance of tools per defined schedule
- Ensure external calibration tools control including related records
- Guarantee proper alignment and update of calibration activities in accordance to Safran standards and applicable customer requirements
- Ensure proper tooling identification and calibration status




- Ensure calibration measurements and records are produced accurately and consistently and maintain consistent calibration system information, inputs and data
- Ensure proper care and management of tools inventory under calibration, including tools integrity
- Ensure proper care and management of calibration spare parts
- Support the achievement of the organization objectives
- Provide support on related tools/product testing as required
- Prepare documentation, charts and reports as required by the relevant processes
- Manage and control activities of calibration premises and technicians
- Ensure the skill matrix is updated for the team and keep a check on the team capacity and access the critical skills with action plan
- Prepare the budget needed for the department in terms of OPEX and CAPEX and keep the budget within control.
- Identify and propose improvement opportunities
- Perform Improvement projects per the defined plans
- Perform all Health, Safety & Environment(HSE) related duties as per his / her job requirements and follow HSE norms as applicable.
- Ensure the 5S score is above the target and be a custodian of 5S activities along with team and continuously improve the systems




- Perform training for the new comers and continuously keep the training modules up to date along with training department to impart the tool handling and usage from the start of operators journey.

Job Requirements

6-7yrs of experience performing calibration activities / Metrology
Experience working under ISO 9001 or AS9100 quality systems and environmental systems

Profession skills:

- MS Office proficiency
- Advance knowledge of Excel
- Basic problem solving tools such as: Fishbone, 5 Why's, etc.
- Fluent English writing and speaking proficiency
