Job Description:

A Lead Engineer is responsible for business growth through successful delivery and execution of engineering solutions in compliance with customer specifications and contractual agreements, leading the engineering team to ensure successful completion of projects on time and on budget.

Key responsibilities include daily engagement and teaming with customers, project team members and management to ensure customer satisfaction and excellence in delivery.

Primary Responsibilities

- Represent GIPASS and its clients in all customer interactions in a professional manner that is consistent with GIPASS values.
- Drive the GIPASS safety culture through demonstrated understanding, commitment and action supporting the organization’s safety and environmental requirements/regulations and ensure other team members observe and operate both
GIPASS and customer protected systems of work, complying with all legislation.
- Lead the assigned control systems projects using appropriate Engineering standards to ensure scope is delivered on time, on budget and with high customer satisfaction.
- Lead the technicians, engineers, and other personnel involved with assigned projects.
- Lead sales pursuits where appropriate along with sales team and generate technical proposal.
- Be responsible for timely reporting of billable and non-billable hours and other direct and indirect expenses.

Supervisory Responsibilities

- Provide direction to personnel assigned to work on project scope.
- Expected span of control 1-4 personnel assigned to project scope.

Geographic Scope & Travel Requirements

- Typically assigned to a project in Middle East or Europe or North America or in India but depending upon requirement may be assigned elsewhere as well.
- Travelling to customer site necessary for engineering, testing and commissioning activities > 75%

Job Location

- Preferably Bengaluru but not mandatory
- Remote working option available for candidates located elsewhere.
