Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Tax Reviewer with a b background in handling complex U.S. Individual Tax Returns for High-Net-Worth Individuals (HNI) and mobility clients. The ideal candidate will have 7-9 years of hands-on experience reviewing Form 1040 and associated schedules, along with specialized expertise in international tax compliance forms.

Key Responsibilities

- Form 1040 Review: Review U.S. Individual Tax Returns (Form 1040) for HNI clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with IRS regulations.
- International Tax Forms: Review and analyze complex international tax forms including:
- Form 1116 (Foreign Tax Credit)
- Form 2555 (Foreign Earned Income Exclusion)
- Form 8938 (Statement of Specified Foreign Financial Assets)
- Form 8621 (Information Return by a Shareholder of a Passive Foreign Investment Company)

- FBAR Compliance: Review FinCEN Form 114 (FBAR) filings for mobility clients to ensure proper reporting of foreign bank accounts.
- Client Advisory: Provide insights and recommendations to clients on tax-saving opportunities and compliance risks.
- Cross-Border Taxation: Collaborate with global mobility teams to address expatriate and cross-border tax issues.
- Quality Assurance:



Ensure all returns meet firm standards and regulatory requirements before submission.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
- CPA, EA, or equivalent skilled certification preferred.
- 7-9 years of experience in U.S. Individual Tax Return review, with exposure to HNI and mobility clients.
- b knowledge of IRS regulations and international tax compliance requirements.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and client management skills.
