Job Summary

BurdaLuxury is looking for talented editor, living in Delhi, equipped with 5+ years’

experience in print media gained in segments such as travel, in-flight, food & beverages,

and lifestyle. As Feature Editor, there is also a mandate to manage all aspects of the

editorial production cycle.

Editorial Duties

- Rewrite or restructure content as needed to enhance readability and

engagement

- Subedit and proofread all content, work on InDesign
- Ensure all articles are factually correct, grammatically sound, and free of

plagiarism

- QC: Cross-check captions, headlines, bylines, and callouts for factual and

stylistic accuracy

- Finalise content before layout and design stages in collaboration with the design

team

- Review and incorporate client feedback across advertorials, features, and

sponsored content





- Ensure content revisions are implemented swiftly without compromising quality
- Factchecking

Content Ideation

- Collaborate with me and writer(s) to conceptualise themes and story ideas for

upcoming issues

- Participate in monthly brainstorming sessions to generate fresh, relevant, and

on-brand editorial ideas for all three magazines

- Keep abreast of current trends and competitor content to suggest compelling

stories and features

- Help create editorial calendars, running orders, and assign content tasks

accordingly

Events & Networking

- Attend industry events, client functions, and launches as a representative of the

editorial team

- Interact with guests, speakers, and brand representatives to gather quotes,

insights, or coverage angles

- Provide on-ground support for event coverage, including quotes, interviews, or

post-event write-ups

- Coordinate with tenants for assets, follow-ups (this can eventually be passed on

to the writer)
