We are looking for a motivated Purchase Engineer to join our procurement team and contribute to our continued growth.

JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Purchase Engineer to manage procurement activities and ensure the timely availability of materials required for manufacturing and project execution. The ideal candidate will be responsible for vendor sourcing, procurement planning, commercial negotiations, purchase order management, and coordination with internal departments to support efficient business operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable suppliers based on technical and commercial requirements
- Source raw materials, components, and services while ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery
- Prepare and process RFQs, purchase orders, and procurement documentation
- Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, payment terms, and commercial agreements with suppliers
- Coordinate with Engineering, Production, Stores, Quality, and Accounts teams to understand procurement requirements
- Track purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of materials to avoid production delays
- Monitor supplier performance and maintain long-term vendor relationships
- Assist in vendor development and supplier performance evaluations




- Support import procurement and coordinate with logistics partners for customs clearance when required
- Maintain procurement records, vendor databases, and MIS reports while ensuring compliance with company procurement policies

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

- BE / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline
- Freshers as well as candidates with relevant procurement experience are encouraged to apply
- Basic understanding of procurement, supply chain, and vendor management processes
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications will be an advantage
- Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of ERP software is preferred
