Job Title: Senior Accountant

Reports To: Accounting Manager / Finance Manager / Controller

Job Summary

The Senior Accountant is responsible for overseeing general accounting operations, preparing financial reports, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting month-end and year-end closing activities. This role plays a key part in maintaining accurate financial records and providing financial insights to management.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Manage general ledger activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Analyze financial data and prepare management reports.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.
- Monitor accounts payable, accounts receivable, and fixed assets.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
- Coordinate internal and external audits and provide required documentation.




- Review and improve accounting processes and internal controls.
- Support cash flow management and treasury activities.
- Mentor and guide junior accounting staff.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial matters and special projects.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent preferred.
- 5–8 years of accounting experience, preferably in a senior-level role.
- Robust knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and financial reporting requirements.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, QuickBooks).
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
