Job Title: Senior Accountant

Job Summary:

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining compliance with statutory requirements, and supporting management in financial planning and decision-making. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and FMCG business processes.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee and manage the general accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, ledger maintenance, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare and finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure timely filing of GST, TDS, and other statutory returns.
- Monitor cash flow, fund management, and working capital requirements.
- Conduct variance analysis, expense monitoring, and cost control.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
- Coordinate with internal and statutory auditors for audits and compliance.




- Manage vendor and customer reconciliations.
- Maintain inventory accounting and ensure accurate costing in line with FMCG standards.
- Supervise junior accountants and ensure accuracy in daily accounting entries.
- Implement and maintain internal financial controls and accounting systems.

Qualifications & Skills:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance.
- Professional certification (CA Inter / CMA / MBA Finance) preferred.
- Minimum 5–8 years of accounting experience, preferably in the FMCG industry.
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory compliance.
- Proficiency in Tally Prime / SAP / Excel / MS Office.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
- Solid attention to detail and integrity.

Salary Range: As per industry standards

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
