Job Description :

This is a full-time, on-site Purchase Manager role based in Surat.

The Purchase Manager will be responsible for managing end-to-end procurement of raw materials, components, and services required for seat cover manufacturing and related in-house components.

Daily activities include identifying and evaluating suppliers, requesting and comparing quotations, negotiating prices and terms, and issuing purchase orders in line with production requirements and budgets. To monitor inventory levels, coordinate closely with production, planning, and stores teams, and ensure timely availability of materials while minimizing excess stock and costs. To maintain supplier performance records, resolve delivery or quality issues, support cost-reduction initiatives, and ensure adherence to company policies and relevant compliance standards.

Roles and Responsibilities:

· Strong procurement and sourcing skills, including vendor identification, RFQ handling, price negotiation, and purchase order management.

· Experience with inventory management, material planning, and coordination with production or supply chain teams.

· Familiarity with automotive or manufacturing components, preferably textiles, foam, plastics, or related seat cover materials.

· Proficiency in using Talley ERP or inventory management software, MS Excel, and other basic office tools for data analysis and reporting.

· Excellent communication, negotiation,



and relationship-building skills with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.

· Strong analytical, problem-solving, and cost-conscious mindset, with attention to detail and adherence to timelines.

· Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field; relevant procurement certifications are an advantage.

· Prior experience in a purchasing or supply chain role in a manufacturing setting is preferred.

· Ability to work on-site in Surat, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate effectively in a diverse, team-oriented environment.

Required Skills/ Abilities:

· Master’s / Bachelor’s degree in MBA or Engineering for relevant field.

· Proven managerial experience is a bonus.

· Solid understanding of supply chain and inventory management systems.

· Advanced knowledge of forecasting and budgeting processes.

· Minimum 10 years of experience in automotive Materials

· A good experience in Import and Export is must.

· Outstanding communication and leadership skills.

· Analytical mind with excellent problem-solving abilities.

· Aware about IATF certification and departmental budgets.

Pay: ₹800,000.00 - ₹900,000.00 per year
