The Assistant Nursery Teacher supports the Lead Teacher in creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing learning environment for young children. The role involves assisting with classroom activities, supervising children, maintaining classroom organization, and promoting the overall development and well-being of every child.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist the Lead Teacher in planning and implementing daily classroom activities as per the preschool curriculum.
- Support children in developing social, emotional, cognitive, language, and motor skills through age-appropriate learning experiences.
- Help prepare and organize teaching materials, learning aids, and classroom displays.
- Supervise children during classroom sessions, outdoor play, meals, rest time, and field trips.
- Ensure the safety, hygiene, and well-being of all children at all times.
- Assist children with toileting, handwashing, eating, and other daily care routines when required.
- Encourage positive behaviour, independence, and positive manners through gentle guidance.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and child-friendly classroom environment.
- Observe children's progress and share feedback with the Lead Teacher.
- Support the implementation of classroom routines, lesson plans, and special events.
- Assist in maintaining student records, attendance,



and classroom documentation.
- Participate in school functions, celebrations, parent interactions, meetings, and training sessions.
- Follow all school policies, child safety guidelines, and safeguarding procedures.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, coordinators, and other staff members to ensure smooth classroom operations.

Qualifications

- Minimum qualification: 10+2; NTT, Diploma in Early Childhood Education (ECE), or equivalent preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline is an added advantage.

Experience

- 0–2 years of experience in a preschool or early childhood education setting.
- Freshers with relevant training and a passion for working with children are encouraged to apply.

- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Basic classroom management skills.
- Creativity in conducting activities and engaging children.
- Basic knowledge of child development and early learning practices.
- Basic computer skills (MS Office) are an added advantage.

Working Hours

As per school timings and operational requirements.

Pay: ₹6,000.00 - ₹7,000.00 per month
