Key Responsibilities

- Machine Setup (Setter Role): Interpret engineering drawings and GD&T; specifications to set up the VMC. Install and align fixtures, workpieces, and cutting tools.
- Program Execution & Offsets: Load CNC programs into the machine control system, and accurately set tool offsets and work offsets. Execute trial runs (part proving) to validate programs before full-scale production.
- Machine Operation: Run the VMC, load raw materials, unload finished parts, and monitor the machining process to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Quality Control: Inspect components using precision measuring tools like Vernier calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and height gauges to ensure parts meet dimensional tolerances.
- Tool & Process Management: Monitor cutting tool life, replace worn/broken tools, and adjust machine feeds and speeds to optimize cycle times and part finish.
- Machine Maintenance:



Perform routine maintenance such as checking coolant levels, daily cleaning, and lubrication.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Technical Education: ITI or Diploma in Mechanical, Production, Machinist, or CNC Programming.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong ability to read engineering drawings and use precision measuring instruments. Solid understanding of G-code and M-code programming.
- Controller Knowledge: Hands-on experience with popular machine controllers like Fanuc, Siemens, Haas, or Mitsubishi.
- Experience: Typically ranges from 3 to 5+ years of combined setting and operating experience.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹32,000.00 per month
