Sr. Accountant (E-commerce & Consumer Electronics)

About Us
We are a rapid-growing D2C (Direct-to-Consumer) brand in the consumer electronics space, operating in India. We are looking for an experienced Accountant proficient in Tally and well-versed in e-commerce accounting, GST, and TDS compliance. The ideal candidate will manage day-to-day bookkeeping, financial reporting, and ensure compliance with Indian tax regulations

.Key Responsibilities:

- Daily Bookkeeping & Accounting:
- Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions in Tally.
- Record daily sales, expenses, and bank reconciliations.
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and vendor payments.
- GST & TDS Compliance:
- Ensure timely and accurate GST filings (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9).
- Handle TDS deductions, filings (Form 26Q), and issuance of certificates.
- Reconcile input tax credits and resolve discrepancies.
- E-commerce Financial Management:
- Track and reconcile sales from Amazon, Flipkart, Shopify, and other marketplaces.
- Handle refunds, discounts, and marketplace commission entries.
- Monitor working capital and cash flow.
- Financial Reporting & Audit Support:
- Prepare monthly P&L;, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.




- Assist in internal/external audits and tax assessments.
- Process Improvement:
- Implement best practices for accounting automation and efficiency.
- Work closely with the finance team to optimize costs.

Requirements:

- Education: B.Com/M.Com or equivalent; CA Inter/CMA preferred.
- Experience: 3+ years in accounting with Tally (Prime or ERP).
- Industry Preference: E-commerce, D2C, or consumer electronics.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficient in Tally, Excel (Pivot, VLOOKUP), and Google Sheets.
- Knowledge of GST, TDS, and e-commerce accounting.
- Soft Skills: Detail-oriented, organized, and able to meet deadlines.

Good to Have:

- Experience with Tally ERP , Tally Prime or other accounting tools.
- Knowledge of inventory accounting in e-commerce.

Candidates with immediate joining will be preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹350,000.00 - ₹480,000.00 per year
