Job Purpose

To manage vendor operations and production coordination for the weaving division by ensuring smooth execution of orders, maintaining vendor relationships, coordinating with internal teams, and achieving quality and delivery targets.

Key Responsibilities

Vendor & Production Management

- Handle end-to-end vendor operations for weaving and production activities
- Develop strong networking with vendors in and around Palladam
- Coordinate with job work units, fabric suppliers, and production partners
- Monitor production schedules, process flow, and delivery timelines

Operations & Team Coordination

- Coordinate closely with marketing and operations teams for smooth execution
- Ensure timely order processing, follow-up, and dispatch coordination
- Resolve vendor and operational issues proactively
- Maintain effective communication between vendors and internal departments

Quality & Commercial Management

- Ensure vendor compliance with quality and customer requirements
- Negotiate pricing, process costs, and commercial terms with vendors
- Monitor fabric quality, process consistency, and operational efficiency




- Support cost optimization and profitability improvement initiatives

Vendor Relationship & Process Improvement

- Build long-term relationships with key vendors and suppliers
- Evaluate vendor performance, capacity, and delivery efficiency
- Drive continuous improvement in vendor operations and coordination

Key Skills Required

- Strong networking with weaving vendors in and around Palladam
- Good negotiation and vendor relationship management skills
- Strong coordination skills with marketing and operations teams
- Hands-on exposure in woven fabric and weaving operations
- Good knowledge in fabric transfer and vendor process handling
- Solid problem-solving, communication, and operational coordination abilities

Experience Requirement

- Minimum 10–15 years of experience in textile or weaving industry
- Strong exposure in vendor operations, weaving production, and process coordination
- Experience handling job work units and supplier management preferred

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s Degree in Textile / Engineering / Commerce
- MBA preferred
