We are looking for an experienced Supplier Quality Assurance (SQA) Engineer with strong exposure to the automobile industry and hands-on expertise in manufacturing processes such as Machining, Cold Forging, and Hot Forging. The candidate will be responsible for supplier quality development, process audits, quality improvement initiatives, and ensuring compliance with customer and industry standards.

Supplier Quality Management

- Develop, qualify, and monitor suppliers for machining and forging components.
- Conduct supplier process audits and capability assessments.
- Ensure supplier compliance with automotive quality standards and customer requirements.
- Drive supplier quality improvement programs and corrective actions.

Process & Manufacturing Quality

- Evaluate and monitor manufacturing processes including:
- CNC Machining, Drilling Grinding
- Forging Processes
- Heat Treatment
- Review process flow, control plans, PFMEA, and work instructions.
- Analyze process capability studies (Cp/Cpk) and SPC data.





Quality Assurance Activities

- Handle PPAP submissions, and supplier approvals.
- Conduct root cause analysis using tools like:
- 8D
- Why-Why Analysis
- Fishbone Diagram
- Ensure implementation and effectiveness of CAPA & Monitor rejection trends.

Inspection & Testing

- Review dimensional inspection reports and metallurgical test reports.
- Ensure usage and calibration of measuring instruments such as:
- Vernier Calipers, Micrometers, Bore Gauges & Height Gauges
- Verify compliance with drawing specifications and GD&T; requirements.

Customer & Internal Coordination

- Coordinate with production, design, purchase, and suppliers for quality resolution.
- Support customer audits and regulatory compliance activities.
- Participate in recent product development and supplier localization projects.
