IBH Enterprises Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced, dynamic, and result-driven General Manager – Plant & Operations to lead our Container & Tanker Fabrication Division. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the overall management of plant operations, production planning, manufacturing excellence, quality assurance, project execution, engineering coordination, supply chain, safety compliance, and continuous process improvement.

The candidate should possess extensive experience in Container Body Building, Fuel & Water Tanker Manufacturing, Trailer Fabrication, Heavy Fabrication, Commercial Vehicle Body Building, and Plant Operations.

Key ResponsibilitiesPlant Operations & Manufacturing

Lead complete manufacturing operations of the fabrication plant.

Oversee production planning, scheduling, capacity utilization, and execution.

Ensure timely completion of production targets while maintaining quality standards.

Optimize plant productivity, machine utilization, and operational efficiency.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce manufacturing costs.

Production & Fabrication Management

Lead manufacturing operations for:

- Fuel Tankers
- Water Tankers
- ISO Containers
- Container Bodies
- Trailers
- Tippers
- Special Purpose Vehicle Bodies (SPVs)
- Heavy Structural Fabrication

Monitor and control:

- Material Planning
- CNC Cutting
- Plate Rolling
- Bending
- Welding
- Assembly
- Shot Blasting
- Painting
- Hydro Testing
- Final Inspection
- Dispatch

Plant Leadership

Lead Production, Quality, Design, Maintenance, Procurement, Stores, Planning, Logistics, and Project teams.

Develop departmental KPIs and monitor overall plant performance.





Build a high-performance culture through coaching and employee development.

Manage manpower planning, workforce productivity, contractors, and shift operations.

Engineering & Project Coordination

Coordinate closely with Design, Production, Procurement, Quality, and Project teams.

Ensure engineering drawings are released on time.

Resolve manufacturing bottlenecks.

Monitor project timelines and customer delivery commitments.

Quality Management

Ensure compliance with company quality standards.

Maintain high fabrication and welding quality.

Ensure compliance with:

- CMVR
- AIS Standards
- OEM Specifications
- Customer Specifications
- ISO Standards
- Welding Procedures (WPS/PQR)

Safety & Compliance

Ensure strict implementation of:

- EHS Standards
- Factory Safety Rules
- PPE Compliance
- Fire Safety
- Statutory Regulations
- Environmental Compliance
- Promote a zero-accident safety culture.
- Cost Control & Inventory
- Monitor production costs and improve profitability.
- Control fabrication wastage and material consumption.
- Optimize inventory levels and reduce non-moving stock.
- Improve procurement planning and vendor coordination.
- Process Improvement
- Implement Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Drive 5S implementation.
- Introduce Kaizen initiatives.
- Improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
- Enhance plant productivity through automation and process optimization.
- Customer & Business Management
- Coordinate with customers regarding project schedules and technical requirements.
- Participate in customer inspections and audits.




- Support business expansion and new product development.

Required Qualifications

- B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering (Mandatory)

Preferred:

- M.Tech (Mechanical/Production)
- MBA (Operations) will be an added advantage.

Experience Required

✔ 15–20 years of experience in:

- Container Manufacturing
- Fuel Tanker Manufacturing
- Water Tanker Manufacturing
- Trailer Manufacturing
- Heavy Fabrication
- Commercial Vehicle Body Building
- Plant Operations
- Manufacturing Management

At least 5–8 years in a senior leadership role such as Plant Head, Operations Head, Factory Head, or General Manager.
