Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Safety Officer to join our team in Hyderabad. The Safety Officer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring occupational health and safety programs to ensure a safe working setting for all employees. This role requires a proactive individual with strong knowledge of safety regulations and best practices, capable of fostering a culture of safety within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies and procedures in accordance with local and national regulations.
- Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits to identify potential hazards, assess risks, and recommend corrective actions.
- Investigate all incidents, accidents, and near-misses, determine root causes, and implement preventive measures to avoid recurrence.
- Organize and conduct safety training sessions for employees on various topics including emergency preparedness, fire safety, first aid,



and safe work procedures.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable safety standards, codes, and regulations (e.g., Factories Act, OSHA, OHSAS 18001/ISO 45001).
- Prepare and maintain detailed safety records, reports, and documentation, including incident logs, inspection reports, and training records.
- Collaborate with management and employees to promote a strong safety culture and encourage active participation in safety initiatives.
- Oversee the proper use, maintenance, and availability of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Develop and implement emergency response plans and conduct regular drills to ensure preparedness.
- Stay updated on new safety regulations, industry best practices, and technological advancements in safety management.
- Provide expert advice and guidance to management on all safety-related matters.
