Food Technologist – Production & Packaging

Job Summary

We are looking for a passionate and knowledgeable Food Technologist to join our Production & Packaging team. The candidate will be responsible for monitoring food processing activities, maintaining product quality, ensuring food safety standards, and supporting packaging operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise daily food processing and packaging activities.
- Ensure adherence to food safety, hygiene, and quality standards.
- Monitor production processes to achieve consistent product quality.
- Develop, standardize, and improve product formulations and recipes.
- Conduct quality inspections of raw materials, packaging materials, and finished products.
- Ensure compliance with FSSAI, GMP, HACCP, and company quality standards.
- Monitor shelf life, storage conditions, and packaging quality.
- Maintain production, quality, and batch records.
- Coordinate with Production, Purchase, Stores, and QA teams.
- Identify production issues and implement corrective actions.
- Support new product development and process improvement initiatives.





Desired Candidate Profile

- B.Tech / M.Tech in Food Technology, Food Engineering, Food Science, Dairy Technology, or a related field.
- 1–5 years of experience in a Food Manufacturing or Food Processing industry.
- Freshers with solid academic knowledge may also apply.
- Positive understanding of FSSAI regulations, GMP, HACCP, and food safety practices.
- Knowledge of food processing, packaging, and quality control.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
