- Provide comprehensive nursing care to neonates admitted to the NICU.
- Monitor and record vital signs, oxygen saturation, and overall clinical condition.
- Administer medications, IV fluids, and feeds as prescribed.
- Assist doctors during neonatal procedures, resuscitation, and emergency interventions.
- Operate and monitor NICU equipment such as incubators, ventilators, CPAP, infusion pumps, and phototherapy units.
- Maintain accurate nursing documentation and treatment records.
- Follow infection prevention and patient safety protocols at all times.
- Educate and counsel parents regarding neonatal care and breastfeeding.
- Coordinate with doctors and multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient care.
- Ensure availability and proper maintenance of NICU equipment and supplies.
- Participate in clinical audits, training programs, and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
