Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented greige fabric Specialist to oversee the procurement, quality assurance, and inventory management of greige fabric. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of fabric types, specifications, and the textile supply chain, ensuring timely and cost-effective sourcing for our production requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Fabric Sourcing & Procurement:

Identify and evaluate reliable vendors for greige fabric.

Negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers.

Maintain and develop vendor relationships to ensure quality and timely supply.

Quality Assurance:

Inspect and verify fabric quality against specifications.

Coordinate with quality control teams for fabric testing and approval.

Ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.

Inventory & Documentation:

Monitor fabric stock levels and manage inventory efficiently.

Maintain accurate records of fabric procurement, testing, and delivery.





Prepare reports on fabric availability, cost analysis, and supplier performance.

Market Research & Cost Optimization:

Stay updated on market trends, new fabric types, and pricing.

Suggest cost-saving measures without compromising quality.

Coordination & Communication:

Work closely with production, design, and quality teams to meet fabric specifications.

Communicate effectively with vendors, logistics, and internal departments.

Qualifications & Skills:

Proven experience in fabric procurement or sourcing within the textile industry.

Strong knowledge of greige fabric types, specifications, and testing standards.

Excellent negotiation and communication skills.

Ability to analyses market trends and adapt sourcing strategies.

Attention to detail and positive organizational skills.

Proficiency in ERP or procurement software is a plus.

Educational Qualification:

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Textiles, Fashion Technology, or related field.
