About the Role

We are looking for a Linux Engineer – SME with strong expertise in enterprise Linux environments to support global customers. This role requires advanced troubleshooting skills, customer interaction, and hands-on experience with Linux clusters, patching, and performance tuning.

Key Responsibilities

Provide L2/L3 support via calls, emails, and remote sessions

Troubleshoot complex Linux issues across environments

Manage Incident, Change, and Problem Management processes

Perform patching, security updates, and compliance monitoring

Work on cluster environments (RedHat / SUSE / Veritas)

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (CoE, Hardware, Vendors)

Conduct DR drills, performance tuning & capacity planning

Create and maintain SOPs and documentation

Ensure SLA adherence and high customer satisfaction

Technical Skills Required

✔ Strong experience in Linux Administration (RHEL, CentOS, SUSE)

✔ Expertise in Cluster Services (Pacemaker / Veritas)





✔ Hands-on in patching tools (RedHat Satellite, SUSE Manager)

✔ Linux networking troubleshooting

✔ Shell scripting for automation

✔ Virtualization: VMware / RHVM

✔ Knowledge of AIX / HP-UX (Positive to have)

✔ Experience in Security, DR, and Performance Analysis

Certifications (Preferred)

RHCSA / RHCE (Must Have Preferred)

ITIL (Good to Have)
