Deputy Manager-VAVE

Job Description

- Serve as the VAVE ideation team manager and lead the team in cost-out program’s strategy for building the ideation pipeline.
- Understand products (both design and manufacturing). Identify cost-out opportunities by analyzing them & providing solutions.
- Evaluate solutions for total cost impact and guide team to deliver the targeted business impact
- Spearhead Teardown workshops and drive kaizen brainstorming events
- Accountable for VAVE Framework from Data Collection, Function Analysis, Function/Cost matrix, Cost Estimation, Idea Generation, Pareto Ideas and develop action, Project Funnel.
- Plan and Coordinate Engineering activity between cross-functional team members (engineering, purchasing, quality, operations) to drive cost reduction projects.
