1. Job Purpose

The Regional Manager – Gold Loans is responsible for driving business growth, portfolio quality, profitability, operational excellence, and risk management across the designated region. The role ensures achievement of disbursement, revenue, collection, and customer acquisition targets while maintaining strict adherence to gold valuation standards, regulatory requirements, audit controls, and asset safety protocols. The incumbent will lead Area Heads/Branch Managers to build a high-performance sales and service culture.

2. Dimensions

New Relationship

- Drive customer acquisition and market expansion across the region.
- Develop partnerships, local marketing initiatives, and referral networks to increase wallet share.

Managing Existing Relationships

- Ensure superior customer service and retention across all branches.
- Drive repeat business and customer engagement initiatives.

Structuring Current Transactions

- Oversee adherence to valuation, LTV norms, documentation, and approval processes.
- Ensure quality sourcing and profitable portfolio growth.

Compliance of Regulatory Guidelines

- Ensure compliance with RBI guidelines, company policies, audit requirements, and gold custody standards.

Portfolio Monitoring

- Monitor portfolio growth, delinquency, auction performance, risk indicators, and branch profitability.

- Strong audit and compliance scores across branches.
- Talent development and succession planning.
