Key Responsibilities:1. Plant Operation

- Operate pumps, blowers, valves, and treatment units
- Monitor STP processes like aeration, clarification, and filtration
- Maintain proper flow and treatment efficiency

2. Maintenance Work

- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of:
- Motors, pumps, blowers
- Electrical panels and wiring
- Pipe fittings and valves
- Lubrication, alignment, and minor repairs

3. Monitoring & Reporting

- Record daily parameters (pH, DO, MLSS, flow rate, etc.)
- Maintain logbooks and maintenance records
- Report abnormalities to supervisor

4. Troubleshooting

- Identify faults in mechanical/electrical systems
- Quickly resolve operational issues to avoid downtime

5. Safety & Compliance

- Follow safety protocols and PPE usage




- Ensure plant operates as per pollution control norms
- Maintain housekeeping in plant area

Required Skills:

- Basic knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems
- Understanding of STP processes (SBR, MBBR, etc.)
- Ability to use tools and testing instruments
- Problem-solving and teamwork skills

Qualification:

- ITI / Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical / Fitter
- Experience: 1–3 years in STP/ETP preferred

Working Conditions:

- Shift duty (day/night rotation)
- Work in wet and industrial environments
