Job Summary

We are looking for a technically sound and commercially driven Product & Sourcing Engineer to manage product sourcing, vendor development, technical evaluation, and procurement activities for industrial products and engineering solutions.

The role involves identifying reliable suppliers, managing vendor relationships, evaluating technical specifications, optimizing product portfolios, and supporting business growth through efficient sourcing strategies.

The ideal candidate should have experience in industrial equipment, welding products, industrial automation, heavy electrical machinery, testing & measuring instruments, engineering products, or industrial manufacturing sectors.

Key ResponsibilitiesProduct Management

- Identify, evaluate, and onboard new industrial products and technologies to strengthen the company’s product portfolio.
- Manage product categories including:
- Industrial Equipment
- Welding Machines & Accessories
- Industrial Automation Products
- Heavy Electrical Machines & Components
- Testing & Measuring Instruments
- Engineering Tools & Industrial Consumables
- Industrial Safety Equipment
- Maintain technical specifications, product datasheets, catalogs, and compliance documentation.
- Coordinate with manufacturers/OEMs for technical updates, pricing, and product availability.

Sourcing & Procurement

- Source products from domestic and international suppliers/OEMs.
- Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships.
- Conduct supplier evaluations based on:
- Quality Standards
- Pricing Competitiveness
- Delivery Timelines
- Technical Compliance
- Service Support
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, lead times,



and supply agreements.
- Ensure timely procurement and material availability.

Technical Evaluation

- Analyze technical specifications and compare products from multiple manufacturers.
- Conduct product benchmarking and cost-performance analysis.
- Support internal teams with technical product selection and feasibility.
- Coordinate quality checks, product testing, and approvals where required.

Sales & Technical Support

- Support sales and business teams with:
- Technical product recommendations
- Product presentations
- Technical documentation
- RFQ/RFP responses
- Techno-commercial proposals
- Understand customer requirements and coordinate suitable product solutions.
- Assist in current product development and market expansion opportunities.

Documentation & Coordination

- Maintain sourcing records, supplier databases, and procurement documentation.
- Prepare pricing sheets, BOM (Bill of Materials), sourcing comparisons, and reports.
- Coordinate with logistics, warehouse, and operations teams for smooth execution.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in:

- Mechanical Engineering

- Equivalent Technical Discipline





Preferred Experience

2–8 years of experience in one or more of the following industries:

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
