Key Responsibilities:

1. Documentation Management:

- Prepare and manage all documentation required for the import and export of chemicals in compliance with Indian and international trade regulations.
- Prepare invoices, packing lists, shipping bills, bills of entry, certificates of origin, and other necessary documentation.
- Sharing of pre-shipment documents to forwarder as per air/sea shipment (INV, PL, COA, EVD, SCOMET declaration etc.)
- Application for COO from AI. RODTEP script generations etc.
- Ensure accuracy in HS codes and adherence to DGFT, Customs, and GST guidelines.
- Preparing Export statement, RODTEP Statement and generate E-script and send to govt person to tranfer and reciept claim

amount.

2. Regulatory Compliance:

- Stay updated on customs regulations, government policies, and legal requirements for chemical import/export.
- Ensure that all shipments comply with safety and environmental regulations, especially those specific to hazardous chemicals.

3. Coordination with Stakeholders:

- Liaise with freight forwarders, customs agents, shipping companies, and port authorities for smooth import/export operations.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including procurement, production, and finance, to ensure seamless documentation and logistics.

4. Import/Export Operations:

- Handle LC (Letter of Credit) documentation, insurance, and bank formalities.
- Preparing post shipment doc’s payment term (LC, Advance, CAD, TT) once receipt Original BL and send to customer through DHL And send DHL tracking details as well.
- Monitor shipment status and resolve any discrepancies during transit or at customs.




- Ensure timely clearance of goods to avoid demurrage or penalties.

5. Vendor and Government Interaction:

- Maintain relationships with customs agents, logistics providers, and other third-party service providers.
- Coordinate with government authorities for obtaining necessary permits and clearances.

6. Data Analysis and Reporting:

- Use Microsoft Excel for data management, including cost analysis, shipment tracking, and compliance metrics.
- Generate and maintain MIS reports related to import/export activities.

7. Inventory and Logistics Planning:

- Support inventory management by tracking incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Ensure proper documentation for duty drawbacks, incentives, and refunds, where applicable.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- Educational Qualification:

Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, or related fields.

- Experience:
- 2-3 years in an import/export documentation role, preferably in the chemical manufacturing sector.
- Familiarity with handling hazardous/dangerous goods (DG) shipments is an advantage.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge of ERP systems.
- Expertise in customs clearance processes and documentation software/tools.
- Soft Skills:
- Robust attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good communication and negotiation abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

- Young, energetic, and willing to grow in the field of import-export operations.
- Hands-on experience in the manufacturing sector with a focus on compliance and documentation.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
