Job Summary

Sri Vijayaganapathy Stores is looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Analyst with 4+ years of experience to manage day-to-day financial operations, including payments, petty cash, cash flow management, budgeting, financial reporting, and Profit & Loss (P&L;) analysis. The ideal candidate will ensure financial accuracy, maintain compliance with internal controls, and provide valuable financial insights to support business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and process vendor, employee, and statutory payments accurately and on time.
- Maintain and reconcile petty cash, ensuring proper documentation and periodic verification.
- Prepare, monitor, and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly cash flow statements.
- Prepare and analyze monthly Profit & Loss (P&L;) statements.
- Monitor revenue, costs, operating expenses, and overall profitability.
- Monitor cash balances and support effective working capital management.
- Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Prepare monthly MIS reports and financial dashboards for management.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.




- Track operational expenses and recommend cost optimization opportunities.
- Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders for payment processing and financial documentation.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and statutory requirements.
- Support internal and external audits by providing financial records, schedules, and reconciliations.
- Maintain accurate accounting records and financial documentation.
- Identify and implement process improvements to strengthen financial controls and operational efficiency.

Required Skills

- 4+ years of relevant experience in Finance & Accounts.
- Strong understanding of financial statements, cash flow management, accounts payable, and P&L; analysis.
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, financial formulas) and ERP/accounting software.
- Positive knowledge of bank reconciliation, statutory payments, financial controls, and GST/TDS compliance.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
