Job Title:Shop Manager & Accountant – Steel Retail

Job Overview:We are seeking a reliable, trustworthy, and multi-talented Shop Manager & Accountant to oversee the daily operations and financial activities of our steel retail shop. In this dual role, you will be the backbone of our business—managing day-to-day customer interactions, handling all regular billing, maintaining accurate financial accounts, and ensuring the shop operates smoothly.If you are highly organized, good with numbers, and possess excellent communication skills, we want you on our team.

Key Responsibilities:

- Full-Charge Accounting: Maintain complete and accurate financial records, manage ledger entries, and oversee daily cash flow.
- Regular Billing & Invoicing: Generate accurate customer bills, invoices, and receipts promptly on a daily basis.
- Shop Operations & Oversight: Supervise day-to-day shop activities, monitor inventory levels, and ensure the premises are well-maintained.
- Customer Service & Communication: Greet walk-in customers, answer phone inquiries, provide product pricing, and resolve client issues professionally.




- Business Coordination: Act as the primary point of contact for the shop when the owner is away, ensuring business continuity.

Qualifications & Skills:

- Experience: Proven experience as an Accountant, Bookkeeper, Shop Manager, or similar dual retail-administrative role.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com), Accounting, Finance, or a related field is highly preferred.
- Software Proficiency: Robust hands-on experience with accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or Zoho Books) and MS Office (Excel).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to handle client calls and walk-ins.
- Attributes: High level of honesty, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced retail environment.
