Senior Engineer – Electrical Projects

Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior Engineer – Electrical Projects with experience in estimation, BOQ preparation, project planning, scheduling, and commissioning of electrical systems. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge of HT/LT electrical systems and be capable of supporting project execution from estimation to handover.

Key ResponsibilitiesEstimation

- Review GFC drawings, specifications, and tender documents.
- Prepare quantity take-offs and detailed BOQs.
- Raise Material Requests (MR) based on approved drawings and specifications.
- Identify quantity variations and prepare variation statements.
- Coordinate with procurement for timely material delivery.
- Validate material consumption and support project costing.

Project Planning & Scheduling

- Prepare project schedules using MS Project (MSP) or Primavera P6.
- Develop resource plans, manpower histograms, and project timelines.
- Coordinate with project managers, vendors, and subcontractors for smooth project execution.

Commissioning & Testing

- Commission electrical systems including HT/LT panels, transformers, DG sets, cabling, earthing, lighting,



fire alarm, and ELV systems.
- Prepare testing and commissioning documentation (L1–L5).
- Compile commissioning reports and support project handover to clients, consultants, and PMCs.
- Coordinate with site teams for successful project completion.

Required Skills

- Robust knowledge of HT/LT Power Distribution, Transformers, DG Sets, Electrical Panels, Cabling, Earthing & Lightning Protection, Lighting, Fire Alarm, and ELV Systems.
- Experience in BOQ preparation, estimation, costing, and material planning.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Hands-on experience with MS Project (MSP) or Primavera P6.
- Excellent coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel to project sites.

Candidate Profile

- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.
- 3–8 years of experience in electrical project estimation, planning, commissioning, or execution.
- Self-driven with strong planning and project coordination skills.
- Project Management certification or training will be an added advantage.

Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per year
