SQL Database Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced SQL Database Engineer with expertise in Microsoft SQL Server, database design, performance optimization, and ETL processes to build scalable, secure, and high-performance database solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop and maintain SQL Server databases.
- Develop T-SQL queries, stored procedures, views, functions and triggers.
- Build and maintain ETL processes using SSIS.
- Optimize database performance through query tuning and indexing.
- Design database schemas and data models.
- Create and monitor SQL Server Agent Jobs.
- Develop reports using SSRS.
- Perform backup, recovery and database security management.
- Monitor database health and troubleshoot production issues.
- Support Azure SQL Database implementations.

Qualifications





- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- Experience with database migration is an added advantage.
- Knowledge of cloud database technologies is preferred.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and communication skills.
