KGMI Services Private Limited is a leading manufacturer of high-quality modular furniture, specializing in steel sheet fabrication, office workstations, and hospital furniture. We are seeking an experienced and skilled Grinder to join our team and contribute to our growing operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Grinder – Fabrication
- Grind, deburr, and finish fabricated metal components.
- Remove welding spatters, sharp edges, and surface defects.
- Ensure finished parts meet quality standards and drawings.
- Operate and maintain grinding tools safely.
- Follow safety guidelines, use PPE, and maintain workplace cleanliness.
- Achieve daily production targets and support fabrication activities.
- Team Leadership:
- Lead and supervise a team of welders to meet production goals.
- Train and mentor junior team members to improve skills and productivity.
- Ensure teamwork and a safe working environment in the welding unit.
- Workflow Optimization:
- Plan and manage production schedules to meet deadlines efficiently.
- Suggest and implement improvements in processes to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
- Health & Safety Compliance:
- Follow and enforce all safety protocols and regulations within the workshop.
- Conduct routine safety checks on tools, equipment, and the work environment.Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum 2 years in welding furniture manufacturing (preferred). (Freshers may also apply)
- Education: Should have a Diploma in Mechanical/ ITI-Mechanical /Fitter
- Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead a team and manage workflows effectively.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in reading technical drawings, welding.
- Attention to Detail: Commitment to delivering high-quality products with precision.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for team management and coordination.
