Position - Junior Video Editor

Experience: 0-3 years (Freshers are most welcome)
Location: Ambattur, Chennai

About the Role

We are looking for a creative and innovation-driven Video Editor who can blend AI tools and human creativity to produce visually compelling digital content. This role involves working closely with the marketing team to create engaging visuals, AI-generated media, and high-quality storytelling assets for campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

Short-Form Video Editing
Edit and assemble reels, shorts, and other short video formats tailored for social media platforms.
Apply subtitles, sound effects, motion graphics, and filters to enhance engagement.
Support for Long-Form Content
Assist the senior video editor in cutting, sequencing, and refining long-form videos such as YouTube content.
Prepare rough cuts and incorporate feedback for final versions.
Asset Management
Organize raw footage, sound files, and final exports in an effective file system.
Ensure all video files are correctly named, stored, and backed up.
Collaboration
Work closely with motion graphic designers to integrate animated elements smoothly into videos.
Coordinate with content creators and social media teams to align edits with messaging and trends.
Trend Awareness & Continuous Learning
Stay updated on video editing software features and social media video trends.
Explore creative editing techniques and new tools to improve video appeal.
Quality & Deadline Management




Deliver high-quality videos within set deadlines, maintaining brand standards.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during editing.

General Responsibilities

Team Support & Flexibility

Support the team in the absence of other members and assist with cross-functional tasks when needed.
Perform any additional tasks assigned by the Team Leader, Project Head, or Management to ensure timely completion and overall project success.

Confidentiality & Information Sharing

Share information only with relevant internal team members.
Do not disclose confidential or unauthorized details under any circumstance.
Follow communication and file-sharing protocols as directed.
