Position Summary : Role of Officer- Microbiology is to perform sampling & analysis of finished products .Monitor and record day to day activities as per GDP Guideline .Filing and documentation of reports as per standard . Responsible of clean and hygienic and safe work environment.Perform microbial testing in accordance with USP, EP, IP or customer guideline.Follow safe operation procedure .Participate in required inspection and monitoring programs. Develops personal growth opportunities.

Key Duties & Responsibilities : :

- Ensure calibration and maintain microbiology lab equipment

- Perform microbial testing in accordance with USP, EP, IP or customer guideline





- To perform efficient/reliable microbial testing in accordance with USP/USP-NF/EP/JP or customer guidelines. Testing may include microbial parameters in water, product contact surface environmental monitoring, viable air monitoring, and Microbial Limits Tests, Pathogens as well as BET test in raw materials and finished goods

- Filing and documentation of reports as per standards

- Responsible for a clean, hygienic and safe working environment

- Responsible for all purified water trend analysis

- Method validation for MLT, pathogens and BET each individual product

- Responsible for a clean, hygienic and safe working environment

- Calibrate and maintain microbiology lab equipment

- Monitor and record day to day activity as per GDP guideline

- Responsible for a clean, hygienic and safe working environment

- Responsible for all purified water trend analysis

- Involvement in Audit and NC compliance with their record

- Report all unsafe conditions to their supervisor or safety committee as soon as is reasonably possible.

- Follow safe operating procedures and Material Safety Data (MSDS) guidance applicable to work performed

BSc / MSc in Microbiology
