Job Summary

The Store Keeper is responsible for managing inventory and materials used in plant operations including raw materials, spare parts, tools, and consumables. The role ensures proper storage, accurate tracking, and timely availability of materials to support uninterrupted production.

Key Responsibilities Material Receiving & Inspection

- Receive materials such as cement, sand, aggregates, fly ash, chemicals, and spare parts
- Verify quantity and quality as per delivery challans and purchase orders
- Report any damage or shortages immediately

Inventory Management

- Maintain proper stock levels of:
- RMC raw materials (cement, admixtures, aggregates)
- Crusher materials & spares
- Block factory materials (cement, fly ash, pallets)
- Ensure proper stacking and storage to avoid loss or contamination
- Material Issue
- Issue materials to plant operators and site teams as per approved requests
- Maintain issue records for daily consumption

Record Keeping

- Maintain stock registers (manual or digital)
- Update daily inward and outward entries
- Prepare stock reports and consumption reports

Stock Monitoring & Control

- Conduct regular physical stock verification
- Monitor minimum stock levels and inform procurement team
- Track fast-moving and slow-moving items

Spare Parts Management

- Maintain inventory of plant machinery spare parts
- Ensure availability of critical spares to avoid downtime





Store Maintenance

- Keep store area clean, organized, and protected
- Ensure proper labeling and segregation of materials
- Follow safety norms while handling materials

Coordination

- Coordinate with:
- Plant Manager
- Site Engineers
- Procurement Team
- Assist in material planning and ordering

Required Skills

- Knowledge of RMC, crusher, and block manufacturing materials
- Inventory and stock management skills
- Basic computer knowledge (Excel / ERP preferred)
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to handle plant/store operations

Qualifications

- Minimum: 10th / 12th Pass
- Preferred: Diploma / Any relevant certification

Experience

- 2–5 years as Store Keeper in:
- RMC Plant / Crusher / Block Factory / Construction field

Working Conditions

- Plant environment (dust, machinery, outdoor conditions)
- May involve handling heavy materials

Plant Manager / Site Engineer

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
