The Store Manager is responsible for managing all inventory operations including raw materials, finished goods, tools, consumables, and inward/outward material movement. The role ensures accurate stock control, timely material availability for production, and proper inventory discipline across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
1. Inventory Management
- Maintain accurate inventory records for:
- Raw materials
- Finished goods
- Inserts & cutting tools
- Consumables
- Fixtures & accessories
- Monitor stock levels and prevent shortages or excess inventory.
- Ensure proper stock rotation and storage practices.
2. Material Inward & Outward
- Handle inward and outward material transactions accurately.
- Verify received material against PO, challan, and invoice.
- Ensure proper issue of materials to production as per requirement.
- Maintain proper documentation for all material movement.
3. Production Material Coordination
- Coordinate with Production, Purchase, and Planning teams.
- Ensure timely availability of materials for production schedules.
- Prevent production stoppage due to inventory shortages.
- Track critical items and maintain reorder levels.
4. Tool & Consumable Management
- Maintain inventory of:
- Cutting tools
- Inserts
- Holders
- Coolants
- Consumables
- Track tool issue and return records.
- Monitor tool consumption and wastage.
5. ERP & Documentation
- Maintain inventory transactions in ERP system (Odoo / TranZact / BUSY or similar).
- Generate stock reports, consumption reports, and inventory analysis.
- Maintain proper records of GRN, material issue slips, and stock transfer.
- Support internal and external audits.
- Ensure inventory accuracy and traceability.
7. Warehouse Organization & 5S
- Ensure proper storage, labeling, and identification of materials.
- Maintain FIFO / FEFO practices where applicable.
- Implement 5S and cleanliness in store area.
- Ensure protected handling and storage practices.
8. Vendor & Dispatch Coordination
- Coordinate with vendors for incoming material schedules.
- Support dispatch team for timely delivery of finished goods.
- Ensure proper packing and dispatch documentation.
Key Skills & CompetenciesTechnical Skills
- Strong inventory management knowledge.
- Experience in ERP systems (Odoo / TranZact / BUSY preferred).
- Understanding of manufacturing materials and tooling.
- Knowledge of inward/outward documentation and stock processes.

- Ability to analyze stock movement and consumption trends.
- Strong record-keeping and inventory reconciliation capability.

Experience & Qualification
- Graduate / Diploma in relevant field preferred.
- 2–4 years of experience in manufacturing stores/inventory management.
- Experience in CNC/VMC manufacturing environment preferred.
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
