The Senior Manager / Lead – Quality will be responsible for establishing, implementing, and maintaining quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC) systems across all projects. The role involves developing quality procedures, conducting inspections and audits, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to ensure adherence to organizational standards and industry best practices. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in quality management for construction or engineering projects and a strong understanding of ISO standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish, implement, and monitor QA/QC procedures for all projects to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
- Conduct periodic quality audits, site inspections, and process reviews to identify deviations and corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain ISO documentation, quality manuals,
checklists, and control procedures.
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement, root-cause analysis, and preventive quality practices across teams.
- Collaborate with project, design, and procurement teams to ensure quality requirements are integrated into all project phases.
- Review contractor and vendor quality plans, and ensure adherence to company quality policies.
- Provide training and mentorship to QA/QC personnel to enhance technical competence and quality awareness.
Qualifications & Skills
- B.E./B.Tech in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
- 10–12 years of experience in quality management within construction, infrastructure, or EPC projects.
- Certification in QA/QC and ISO 9001 standards preferred.
- Robust analytical, leadership, and communication skills with attention to detail.
