About Partner Relations Management
The PRM department is responsible for maintaining strong, long-term relationships with journals and publishers onboarded by the PAT Publications team. This role ensures smooth article publication, timely submissions, and resolution of escalations while safeguarding business interests.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain solid relationships with journals and publishers to ensure seamless publication processes.
- Submit new publication requests to journals and publishers, ensuring adherence to agreed timelines.
- Handle and resolve escalations promptly, maintaining professionalism and protecting business interests.
- Act as the primary point of contact between the organization and publishers for ongoing collaborations.
- Monitor publication schedules and ensure timely delivery of articles.
- Negotiate with publishers when required to align on timelines, terms, and expectations.
- Collaborate closely with the PAT Publications team to ensure smooth onboarding and continuity of partnerships.
- Maintain accurate records of publisher communications and agreements.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong background in journal and book publication processes.
- Familiarity with indexing standards such as Scopus, Web of Science, and SCI.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Ability to manage escalations effectively while keeping business priorities first.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple publisher accounts simultaneously.
