Job Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented Mechanical Engineer with strong proficiency in AutoCAD to join our production team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating technical drawings, modifying existing designs, and ensuring that all blueprints meet our factory’s manufacturing standards.
Key Responsibilities
Create accurate 2D and 3D technical drawings using AutoCAD.
Develop detailed layouts for mechanical parts, machinery, or factory equipment.
Collaborate with the production team to translate concepts into manufacturing-ready designs.
Update and maintain a database of technical drawings and revisions.
Perform on-site measurements of parts/machinery to create as-built drawings.
Assist in Bill of Materials (BOM) preparation for the procurement team.
Qualifications & Skills
Education: B.E.
/ B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
Software Proficiency: Expert knowledge of AutoCAD (Essential). Knowledge of SolidWorks or Creo is a plus for experienced candidates.
Technical Skills: Strong understanding of engineering drawing standards, tolerances, and material properties.
Experience: * For Freshers: Strong academic project work involving CAD design.
For Experienced (3-5 yrs): Proven track record of design in a manufacturing or factory workplace.
Language: Fluency in Gujarati and Hindi is preferred for factory floor communication.
